From 7/1/1994 to 6/15/97, participation in the Movement Disorders Clinic of the VA Medical Center under Professor James Ashe. Training in the diagnosis and treatment of various extrapyramidal diseases as well as in the treatment of dystonia with the use of botulinum toxin.
From 1/7/1997 participation in the activity of the Department of Neurology, G. Gennimatas General Hospital. From 1/9/1997, head of the clinic for extrapyramidal diseases of Department of Neurology, G. Gennimatas General Hospital.
From 1/3/2000 to 1/9/2002 pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up of parkinsonian patients who have undergone Deep Brain Stimulation surgery. In collaboration with the functional neurosurgery clinic of the University of Cologne.
From 1/9/2002 to 1/9/2014 participation in the functional neurosurgery unit of the ‘Evangelismos’ hospital under Professor D. Sakas. Preoperative evaluation intraoperative monitoring and postoperative follow up of patients with extrapyramidal diseases.

From 1/8/2003 to 1/3/2018 local coordinator for the administration of thrombolytic treatment to patients with ischemic stroke within the framework of the European study SITS-MOST (Safe Implementation of Thrombolysis in Stroke Monitoring Study).
From 7/10/2004 to 1/3/2005 associate national coordinator in the same study EXPERIENCE AS AN EDUCATOR Organization on an annual basis of a two-day conference on movement disorders under the auspices of the Department of Neurology of G. Gennimatas Hospital.
Since 1999 Co-organizer of an annual winter clinical training course on movement disorders, under the auspices of the Academy of Neurosciences. Since 2010 Co-organizer of an annual spring seminar on multiple sclerosis and movement disorders under the auspices of the Academy of Neurosciences.
In 2012, Organization of an international seminar with the τitle ‘DTI imaging in Clinical Practice’ under the auspices of the Movement Disorders Society. (June 2012) Finally, Dr Tagaris has given more than 300 invited talks, has participated in more than 50 published papers with more thaν 2000 citations and an h-index of 23.
